Principal features: More rounded, more fluid lines, more beautiful and more luxurious, fender-mounted parking lights, [easy ID = five louver doors on hood sides + fine-mesh radiator grille with one vertical and seven horizontal separations (like the 1932 Cadillac design)], single-bar bumpers, twin, streamlined, "bullet" tail-lights with LH number-plate stanchion, new, , "Clamshell" fenders and gently curved running boards, bullet-shaped headlights (no more fender tie bar), entirely new bodies, new, 17" wheels, new Cadillac V8, 115HP motor, new suspension, lighter weight (by 110 lbs), adjustable shocks (two ride modes selected from dash), "Triple Silent" Syncro-Mesh "clashless" transmission featuring helical cut gears, controlled Free-Wheeling , mechanical 4-wheel brakes, Cadillac Full-Range Ride Regulator, Safety glass all round, adjustable front seat, chrome-plating, battery under front seat (formerly mounted on running board), restyled instrument board.
